About Us

Love Is A Four Legged Word

We strongly believe that dogs are family members. Our Goldens live and play in our house. They watch movies with us on our sofa, sleep in our beds at night, and our Goldens actively participate in our leisure activities. They are more than just pets, and are essential parts of our lives.

Our dogs enjoy our company each and every day, as I work from home full time as an Early Childhood Educator. Apart from the tremendous socialization around our Dayhome children, friends and family members, our Golden Retrievers enjoy taking long walks and hikes in the Kootenay mountains, and swimming in many beautiful bodies of water all year around.

We understand the immense work in raising a litter of Golden Retriever puppies. It is a work of love and great dedication for the love of Golden Retrievers and the joy of bringing a Golden puppy into a caring and approved forever home. Please reach out to us anytime and we will be happy to assist with any questions you may have.

OUR philosophy

Our Kennel Philosophy

We believe in raising well-rounded, well-adjusted and friendly companions. Our dogs' health and happiness is always at the forefront. At Golden Valley Kennels we feel that quality over quantity holds true when it comes to ethically breeding and raising dogs. We are not just breeding dogs as a hobby, it is our utmost passion and it shows in every way. Our exceptional client care goes well beyond your puppy coming home.

At Golden Valley Kennels we genuinely believe that dogs are part of our family, here to join us on our many adventures. That's why our dogs are our family companions first and are able to enjoy their lives thoroughly on regular family road trips to the mountains with many hikes and camping adventures all year round.

Our girls are examined by our reputable veterinarian annually and before a planned breeding. We take our veterinarian's advice serious and we will spay if there are any concerns. Our retired girls live their full lives in our home.
